Announcing the Manchester 8-Bit Art Contest

It’s time to vote!

These organizations helped us celebrate Ralph Baer Day by showing off their 8-bit art chops!

Ralph Baer, a longtime New Hampshire resident, invented the first video game console and held over 150 patents on games, devices, and other technology like SIMON and the light gun (used to play Duck Hunt). Baer was an inventor and creator throughout his life, he inspired others to create and play. And we want you to help us celebrate that spirit of inspiration on his birthday, March 8th, by decorating your space with art in the style of 8-bit graphics.

So… What do you need to do?

Vote by liking your favorite #8bitmht art on Instagram! All Instagram submissions are listed below for you to vote by liking. The post with the most likes by March 17 will be declared the winner! Sign up! Let us know you are participating so we can tell others!
