Did you know the inventor of the video game lived right here in Manchester for 40+ Years? For our featured event this month we are celebrating his memory and impact on our modern world by hosting a birthday party in his honor!
Ralph Baer was born 97 years ago is considered “the Father of Video Games.” His patented “Brown Box” (later Magnavox Odyssey), became the first commercial video game console. He also helped develop the electronic pattern-matching game, Simon for Milton Bradley, that was immensely popular through the late 1990s.
